2014 Adult Volunteer Farm Manager Needed

We are in need of an adult volunteer farm manager for our 2014 farm year (May through September). The farm manager will be in charge of regular watering and farm maintenance.

Volunteers will help occasionally (with prepping, planting, and maintenance) leading up to harvest time and will help weekly with harvesting and some maintenance during harvest season (mid-June through September).

Need valuable business experience in production, marketing, sales, distribution, or finance/legal?
Youth ages 12-19 are invited to volunteer to run the farm for experience.

Tips & Tricks

If leaves are wilted, soak them in a bowl of cold water to revive.
Don’t throw away those carrot, beet, or radish greens! They are edible and can be added to a fruit smoothie for an extra nutrient and fiber boost to your daily diet.
